Here is a bass I bought at a pawn shop a couple of years ago. I bought this so I could mess around on a 5-string bass.

I will track my progress and post it as I refinish this one as well.

The next project I am going to tackle is to refinish a guitar. Here is the guitar I’m going to change.

It’s a stratocaster copy that I picked up at a swap meet many years ago. Surprising thing is it plays pretty good. The tremolo bar causes the strings to go out of tune once and awile but other than that it’s ok. I’ll record the steps I take to refinish it and post them as I do it.

Our dog, Gilligan, just had surgery this past weekend. Nothing major he just had a cyst removed from his leg. However, he has to wear this cone so he won’t pull out his stitches. As you can see he doesn’t like it.
